Club Dines at One of Reno’s Favorite Local Establishments

In early October, the Sierra Nevada Section of the Mercedes®-Benz Club of America gathered at Hobey’s Steakhouse in Sun Valley for a delightful First Wednesday Dinner. In total, 21 club members met at the favorite local establishment and enjoyed drinks in the bar before settling into the dining room.
Guests ordered off the Steakhouse’s impressively elegant menu, which included shrimp appetizers, assorted salads, teriyaki chicken, lobster tails, Alaskan crab legs, salmon, assorted pastas, filet mignon, ribeye, and prime rib. Many diners were enticed by the dessert menu, which included campfire s’mores, crème brûlée, brownie à la mode, bananas foster, and chocolate mousse. Wine, beer, soda, and cocktails were available to those who wished to imbibe. Everyone agreed the food was fantastic and no one was disappointed with the selection. In addition to the food being tasty, the presentation was top notch, with food coming out hot and beautifully arrayed.
Hobey’s always has an energizing vibe throughout the steakhouse, bar, and casino, and dinner guests from the Mercedes-Benz club certainly added to the lively environment. Locals and travelers have been enjoying Hobey’s for over 30 years, and the Mercedes-Benz Club was excited to go back to this establishment and have a fun, tasty dinner.
